Certifications expire, and it is not uncommon for a degree to be revoked because of plagiarism or other honor code violations. Each real-time, time and date stamped validation response is an up-to-the-moment guarantee of a credential’s legitimacy.

What could be easier to understand than a credential validated through the issuing institution’s website? Enter the unique code (CeDiD), the first two letters of the name as it appears on the credential and submit.

Audit Trail

While a CeCredential is not printable, the validation page can be printed to provide an audit trail.

We recognize that it is unlikely that a CeCredential would be validated every day to ensure that it has not been rescinded. However, it is vitally important that when validated, there is written proof which includes the issuing organization’s website, whether or not the validation was successful, and a time and date stamp.

This audit trail demonstrates to any inquiring parties that due diligence was performed. As with all audit trails, it is always recommended that you save this record with other important administrative documents.

Secure Digital Signature

Each CeDiploma is digitally signed by CeCredential Trust. When the document is viewed through Adobe Reader® or Acrobat® versions 9.0 or higher, it will reveal that a Digital Signature has been applied to the document.

Adobe Reader® and Acrobat® use a blue ribbon across the top of the document to indicate that the document has not been tampered with since it was first created, and is therefore authentic.
